First off: this being my first time ordering, online ordering made my experience so much more enjoyable. I didn't have to call and ask questions or overburden the person who answers the phone during a dinner rush. It was user friendly and I believe it benefits customer service greatly. No mistakes can be made by an employee during order taking, so I can ensure I get exactly what I want. Options: burger size options, bun options, cheese options. Consumers love option and so do I. Efficiency: I placed my order online at 6:50pm on Saturday. It gave me a 7:15pm pick up time and at exactly 7:15 I got my order piping hot and ready to go. Major points. Accurate timing on a Saturday dinner rush. Taste: it was hard to drive home with my car filling with such an amazing smell! My hubby got plain bacon cheese with regular fries, I got avocado club burger with sweet potato fries. We both were very pleased. Fries were hot and delicious. The burger was flavorful and not greasy. The bacon was perfectly cooked and toppings were placed with thought for best flavor in each bite and not just thrown together haphazardly (no pickles in the middle, tomato to one side, bacon in an x that leaves three quarters of the burger without). The staff knew what they were doing and executed my whole experience perfectly. Will be back and won't be leaving out the shakes next time!

Anyone with Fried Pickles on their menu is #1 in my book. First time ever eating at a smashburger, and will definately be back for more. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the place was cleaner than most restaurants. Will definately be back for more. Only problem is that they need to have a side order of just the Fried Green Tomatoes. Glad we found this place !!!

Being a huge Burger fan I rushed at the opportunity to try this new spot on one of my favorite streets out. One thing that struck me as odd is that they have different burger choices, but the menu doesn't do a good job or a job at all of distinguishing the differences, at least not when you're standing in line looking at the menu board. What I mean is when I went I had never been to a Smashburger so I didn't know the difference between a NOLA burger a classic and an All American. I was tempted to ask the staff but considering how long the line and waits were the staff behind the counter was a bit rushed and I overheard someone in front of me ask the same question and get a rushed unclear answer. I'm willing to forgive that however. I was overall pleased with the burger......I got the NOLA burger. It was good, not Earth shattering and IMO not better some other burger places I've had (5 Guys, or even Good Stuff Eatery in DC). All in all a good burger place, but nothing extraordinary at least in my humble opinion.

I'm upgrading to four stars after return visits to Smashburger. The burgers are delicious. The food, in my experience, is consistent (major sticking point with me.) And, after that Nutter Butter milkshake I had on my last visit, I'm already plotting my next venture. Seriously, I haven't had brain freeze like that in 20+ year. Yum. If you're expecting to find one of these new-fangled fancy upscale burger joints, you're probably better off skipping Smashburger. It's not fancy, it's not gourmet. It's a step up from fast food... more in the vein Five Guys, but with a much larger selection. And, the prices are reflective of this. I hear it's a chain, although I've never been to any other. But I don't think it feels like a chain. It's definitely a lot nicer than a lot of the other locally-owned burger joints at the same price point. I am all about some local flavor. But, there is also a lot to be said for having nice, new, clean decor that isn't dripping with an eon of grease build up.

I came in on a Sunday at 9pm to get the spinach cucumber goat cheese salad but was told they put up all the salad items away. An hour before closing. II thought the full menu was available throughout business hours. Very disappointing!!!

A pleasant surprise! I love a burger...haven't met too many I didn't like. That said, I enjoyed my regular build your burger here. I kept it simple: mustard, ketchup, lettuce, pickles, and grilled onions. It had good flavor and the bun wasn't bad either. The French fries were legit, I could munch on those all day. They were thin cut and seasoned well. The lady taking our order was really friendly, her smile was contagious. She looked happy to be there...that is rare and should be applauded! I think Smashburger is definitely better than your average chain. Perhaps not Company or High Hat Burger good...but then again, much better for your wallet! Parking is tricky; that's uptown living for ya! (I would give it 3.5 stars if half points were allowed...I'm not at 4 yet, but that could change with another great visit)

Go for the burgers, stay for the salads. Both visits I experienced: A dry, dry burger that's dependent on condiments. Great salads, in both value and taste. Smiling service that's eager and sincere. It's a restaurant-dense area, so it's not like there aren't other places to eat. They are really going to have to step up that game to draw me back.

I dont know why all the mediocre reviews, I found Smashburger to be pretty good. Stick with the regular burger because the other burgers are too big for consumption. The fries with rosemary and olive oil are ok though the olive oil does make them a bit too greasy. The best menu item is really the chicken sandwich, especially the baja spicy. Overall yes they dont compete with Company Burger or Yo Mamma's but if your on magazine looking for a burger or chicken sandwich, this is not a bad option.

The layout for this place is odd. They tried to make the most room for seating, but you walk in the door and stand in a tiny walk-in area in line and don't have a whole lot of time to consider the menu. I wasn't really impressed with my All American Cheeseburger; there was nothing outstanding about it except that the bun was too small for the burger! The fries were okay - I asked for cheese fries and since they weren't offered on the menu, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised to get non-melted shredded cheese on top of my fries. Not sure how I felt about that, but I guess it technically counts as cheese fries... I chose to eat it that way instead of asking them to melt it for me. They were so busy that customers were standing around with their food while waiting to have the tables cleared. I would have liked this place better if it were less expensive, of if the price of the burger included fries. I will tell you that I can't remember the last time I had a decent rootbeer float. Barq's in a glass bottle and a chilled glass mug of vanilla ice cream. Perfection!

Fast food + 1 They say my review is too short. I dint know how to expand on fast food review. I am going to see if this enough. If you dont see me again it means this is long enough yo be a review and not just a tip...

CHAIN OF FOOO-OOLS! I swear I'm not being pretentious when I say, the thing I hate about this place is that it smacks (or smashes?) of chain restaurant. That little to no effort to appeal to locals, lackluster, monotony that comes with all the sad national chains. The employees didn't want to be there, the lights were far too bright, and the underwhelming burgers were overpriced. I was excited to get the fried green tomatoes on my burger. I love that idea & that singular shout out to their surroundings. The tomatoes slices were chunks. Huge slimy green chunks with a few clumps of greasy batter clinging to a few sections. It was to be my first burger that I've attempted after the jaw surgery & I was deflated. The sweet potato fries were their only redeeming quality. I glanced longingly at Magasin on our way home & vowed not to settle for a half-assed chain ever again.

This is the second time I've ever been here. The first time was was CMYE event where they pulled out all the stops and made a really good burger, fries and fried pickles in really great large proportions. They set a standard that night. YUM! I would have given them 5 stars if I knew that was how it would be if wasn't a yelp event. So last night, I decided I wanted a burger and would get it to go. I cam home with my burger, fries and fried pickles. The burger was still pretty good when i got home. My disappointment came when i pulled out my fries and fried pickles. The cartons were only half full. For $2 and $3 items, I was expecting the portion sizes similar to the night of the CMYE event (roughly a cup and a half full), not a half full carton of each (half cup sized). Although all the food was still pretty good when I got home, it was a definite let down from the CMYE event.

Paid $7 for just a bacon cheese burger!!! The burger was ok nothing I'd go back and pay $7 for again. I got a regular size burger, should've went to five guys

I don't work too far from Smashburger, so this is definitely a decent option for me. Im not a big fan of their burger but their Avocado Club Chicken Sandwich is pretty delicious. It's avocado, apple-wood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, ranch dressing and mayo on a multi-grain bun. Its very tasty and flavorful chicken sandwich. Its extremely huge too. Paired with the Cajun Fries you talking about a lunch that could probably put you to sleep. This is a great place for lunch in my opinion if you are in the Magazine area. Only problem is parking during the week at lunch time can be a bit of a hassle. If you are on bus or bike it would probably be best unless you want to fight with side street parking or meter maids. One last note, the service is pretty good. Someone is always walking around to see if everything is okay and to clear your table fast. I like seeing that in this semi-fast food joint.

Well, we went here with good intentions. I love my fried pickles and I was having a craving when a friend of mine and I decided to stop in here and score some. I had never been, but I knew that they had them on the menu. So, we go in and order, they give us our number, we sit down and we wait. And wait. And wait. Over 30 minutes of waiting, to be exact. Finally someone came over and informed us that out order had been over looked and there were getting on the issue immediately. They gave us a $5 coupon to make up for it, but when you are in a hurry to get somewhere, it's too little too late. Two stars because after all that the fried pickles were really good and fresh and, of course, fresh out of the fryer. I'm going to go back and try a burger here, I just hope that it doesn't take me over 30 minutes to get my food.

First let me say I ate here for free as part of a promotional campaign in connection with the opening. But I think I can be objective. This place was well above average. It's not in the class of Tru burger or Company Burger. It's more in the style of a fast food burger, but a very good one. All of the burger selections looked very traditional. The one I had came with cheddar and bbq sauce as well as a nice topping of fried onion rings. Very tasty. The veggie burger looked awesome, and the salds were huge and looked like they were made with fresh and high quality ingredients. All in all a place to come back to.

Good juicy hamburger with hickory sauce. The sweet potato fries, haystack onion strings and Tea, all kick butt. The chicken tenders for the little ones are excellent. Fast service with a smile.

One afternoon I was having a craving for a hamburger. Now, my frequent dining companion does not really care for hamburgers, but the fry menu was enticing enough to intrigue both of us. I ordered a plain cheeseburger that came out dressed. FAIL. However, after removing the extra "stuff" the flavor of the burger was exactly what I was looking for... you know... grilled BEEF. The rosemary fries are always a refreshing twist on the old favorite, and I you can't go wrong with a hand dipped Oreo milk shake. I love that they bring out the metal cup with that tiny bit extra that won't fit in the glass. So, yes, Smashburger is a chain, and yes they screwed up my order, but in the end it hit the spot. I don't do the burger and fries thing often, but at least I know where I can go next time it comes up.

I am a fan of trying new burger places around nola. I decided to try smashbuger since it recently opened around here. I do like the different burger choices you were given such as the all american or the nola burger. This place also serves different choices of salads, veggie burgers, and also hotdogs. I also loved the different options for the fries. Such as haystack fries, smashfries, chili cheese fries, etc. I ordered the nola burger which has Creole mustard sauce, fried green tomato, and Swiss cheese on an egg bun! Also added that with smash fries, seasoned with rosemary and garlic. I must say the burgers here are just okay. The meat was average sized and not as juicy as expected. The things I liked bout this place was the different food options besides just burgers and also the different options for fries. Overall, there are plenty other better burger places in NOLA I would go. I do LOVE the milkshake here! Tasted like ice cream :) and they also give you the extra milkshake left over they made for you in a separate tin :)

It was alright. I just stepped in because i had heard from a couple other people that i should try it out, personally i think Company Burger is better, and there's that other spot up on Oak st. i can't remember at this moment, but yeah, those two places are smashing Smashburger.

Smash Burger offers good, if predictable burgers. It is important to bear in mind that it is closer to fast-food in style than a gourmet burger joint. This is evinced by the fact that, instead of ordering a thicker patty to get more food, you need to either order a double patty or an additional burger. However, the burgers are still of substantially better quality than you get from McDonald's or Burger King, but don't expect a half-pound of cooked-to-order angus or filet. For what it is, Smash Burger is good. The prices are about what you'd expect, perhaps a little high but not "hamburger on a silver platter" prices you get at the gourmet joints. It is what it is.

  • Alli L.

It was awesome for the quality and the price. They are not just a hamburger joint. They have plenty of choices from grilled chicken burgers to black bean and veggie burgers along with salads and heavenly haggen daz shakes. The sides are great too. The only thing I would add to the menu is a loaded baked potato. to rival Port o Call's. The staff was great. From the cashiers to the waitress's always there to refill my glass for me and the owner is a nice helpful man striving to make a better product for a good price. I will definitely be going back.

If you're craving a burger I'd absolutely recommend it over any fast food joints (Burger King, McDonalds, etc...). The problem is, there's so many other good burger places around Uptown that makes me think that Smashburger will get lost in the shuffle. I'm happy there's a new burger spot in the Irish Channel, but, to be honest, I'd much rather Tru Burger, Cowbell, or Company Burger. If you find yourself over there, go with the Avocado Club Burger.

So...I found myself in need of a burger fix, and blocked by Mardi Gras parades from my preferred haunts, so I took my own advice and stopped in. Second visit was about a month after my first visit. And the food on my second visit was substantially more impressive! Maybe I just made better choices, or maybe they cooked it better or presented better...who knows? But I dig the Spicy Baja Burger with the fresh jalapeños and enough lettuce and tomato to make a side salad--though eating it with the burger sure makes it go down better. And, I gotta say, I am a fan of the Debris Gravy Fries with Cheese. No...there's no chance it's good for you, but it sure tastes good. Next time, though, I'm going to ask to skip the Prudhomme blackening seasoning on the debris fries because it's just too much salt. The gravy and regular fries are salty enough I'm sure.

Was in the mood for a burger to smash with my sisters. We were in the area already so decided to give this place some play. We had no idea of what to do. Stand in line or plant at a table. Walked to the counter greeted by very busy cashiers and servers. Decisions, decisions decisions! Isn't this the beauty of America? In summary, I chose a baja spicy chicken burger. It was average. My sister got something more up my alley. The mushroom melt chicken burger with sweet potato fries. My french fries were not dazzling. They were not better than a fast food spot. I won't blame my bad decisions on my review. I plan on going back to sit ouside again and obviously copy off my sister's order.

This place lived up to its reputation! I had the BBQ Bacon burger that was recommended and a side of onion rings. Stuffed myself eating nearly every bite and they weren't small portions!

Even though the place was crowded, our burgers did not take long to come out. They were juicy and flavorful. The kids chicken was a huge portion, and the bite I had wasn't bad. The chocolate shake was also pretty delicious. Can't wait to stop in again

My husband and I have Mondays and Wednesdays off together so naturally, we look for new things to do around New Orleans. Earlier in the week I got a craving for a good burger. I checked out Yelp and other apps like it (plus a word of mouth source helped) and I decided that we would check out Smashburger. We arrived around 6:30 and were impressed with the short line and atmosphere. After ordering (I got the Club Burger with Avacado and added a fried egg, and he got the bacon and cheese burger) we waited only 7 minutes and had out delicious burgers and fried infront of us begging to be devoured. We were very eased with taste and quality. Everything from customer service to taste was above average. I would definitely recommend this place, though my hubby and I are still on the search for best burger in New Orleans.

Love this place. Their black bean burger on multi-grain bun might be the healthiest fast-food anywhere. And darn tasty, too. Always fresh. I've ordered their skinny little fries a couple times, too, and always cooked to perfection (I would think they'd be easy to burn, but alas, they do not). The staff is exceptionally friendly, always smiling. Clean, bright place. I'm there regularly.....

I didn't know whether to give it a 4 star based off of my first experience or 3 for my second but as u can see I went with the second just because I feel like u need to be consistent. So for my first visit I got the buffalo chicken sandwich w Cajun seasoned fries and everything was perfect the seasoning the taste just everything. Now the second time I went last Saturday and I had the bacon cheese burger with seasoned fries and this time everything was super salty my daughter had the strips with regular fries and the fries were super salty as well the strips were very yummy tho. I'm not sure if I'll be back most likely I will hopefully they'll be more on point by next visit.

Best part about this place? My vegetarian wife likes their bean burger. A very good burger and top notch sides. The fries have garlic and rosemary, nice to offer something different. They also have several other different options, including some pretty delicious fried pickles. Everything Is very fresh and the service is quick.

I took visiting family to Company Burger today only to discover it is closed on Tuesdays (!). Smashburger has reviews saying it is better than Company - NOT. Nowhere near as good, in fact. The buns are limp and were soggy on the bottom. Burger patties were premade - looked like Burger King. Absolutely nothing approaching Company Burger's freshness, and their availability of interesting toppings (and different meats for that matter). The staff was pleasant but that's about the only positive I can give this place. Don't waste your time here.

  • Damian L.

First, the food was good. Really really good. I don't expect it was very healthy, but if you're going in there looking for tofu burgers and soy shakes then you're pretty badly off-course. Secondly, there isn't any actual smashing involved. At all. They don't whack the burgers, they don't "mash" the potatoes. Nobody drops anything, nobody's making any Hulk jokes. There aren't any percussive impacts of any kind, which makes me a little sad. I spent my whole time there just waiting to see if there was maybe something that'd trigger a Smash Event. Y'know, someone says the magic word of the day, or says its their birthday, and suddenly the whole staff yells "SMASH TIME!" and descends upon each other with big foam hammers or something. But no. Sigh.

Okay so an unnecessary mash of burger joints has been slamming into Nola for the last couple of years (probably as an extension of the influx of new NewOrleanians streaming down from the failing empire above) so why four stars for a "chain?" Because its a damn fine chain. With a price point about 2 bucks and 3 minutes above Wendy's, the fresh kitchen made-to-order fixins and options a'plenty Smashburger is a win in almost every way. I try to spread my dining dollars around, even amongst burgers, but for simplicity, ease of access (for uptown/gd), pleasant staff and quality-assured food set atop a fulcrum of $$$, i'll freely admit my car dog and wodeys all pernt to Smash before Tru, Company, NOHSC, POC, most bars, and all drive-thrus more often than not of late. Good (not yet great: let's see some local-sourced meat) beef and chicken, crisp veggies, and a kitchen that cares enough to fix any mistakes. Just don't forget to tip. Just because it's counter service and table delivery by hourly employees doesn't mean that cash isn't relied upon by the kids making your food. Those tip-cubes are small and very rarely teeming. You people should fix that. As nice as it is, when i toss a five in there the entire flipping kitchen staff should not come out and thank me. Clearly the folk coming from other cities familiar with this chain do not understand the concept of cash economy. Luckily you don't have to deal with them while dining in. Also, to-go orders are prepped super fast. Five to seven minutes. Again, about a 2 point overplay on Wendy's for a game-win finish. Also, one very big deal (for me) is that their teas are always so FRESH. I drink very much. I am a thirsty boy. I will down a glass of their fresh-brewed (and actual) leaf-water from each of the three offerings (sweet, unseat, and herbal) before i make it to my table. I ran cafes for many years and live in them now, it's been many years since i've had such attention paid to such a simple beautiful things, and many never since i was in a restaurant noting it. Details people.

I have been here several times and the only thing negative I have to say about them is - if you get a salad to go, it won't be nearly as big as it would be if you dined in. I've eaten here at least ten times in the past 3 months and I have never been disappointed. I always want to call the 'smash fires' 'slam fries' just because they be slammin'. I've never had cool smash fries, I'd advise anyone who orders them to make sure they were freshly fried because they need to be eaten as hot as you can stand it to really be enjoyed. 'Smash Fires' are sweet potatoes fried in olive oil and seasoned with herbs...mmmm! My favorite burger is anything Baja Spicy, the burger and chicken are equally satisfying. I've been told the 'Black Bean Burger ' isn't bad either. The staff is always nice and friendly. The decor is open with high-celing and brick walls. The lighting is fine unless you're hiding from someone. The Vanilla shake is da bomb! In a pinch - this is where I go to get full and be satisfied....every single time.

I ordered the Classic Big Smash with Fries. The burger was smashed bigger than the bun. Flavor was not any better than fast food chain, however Extra greasy and salty. Not overly impressed and probably won't return.

So, things to know.. 1)Daddy loves a good burger 2)Daddy loves a good deal 3)Daddy doesn't like to drive far, or wait long.. If you are like daddy then Smash Burger is a good place for lunch. I have had their burgers. Yummy, Scrumptious.. And their Black Bean Burger (I know, heresy you say) but it was actually tasty too. The black bean burger, is not trying to be a hamburger , but rather, respectable as black beans in patty form saying, "hey, eat me like a burger, but I won't add any additional cholesterol to your already skyrocketing numbers." And yes, as you can see, Black Beans talk A LOT! The smash fries are tasty, although they can be a bit salty.. There is not usually a long wait, and even when it seems as if there will be, the line moves pretty fast, so do not despair.. If you are in Uptown, and do not want to take a gamble on a good, quick burger, then give smash burger a try.. Big Daddy would never steer you wrong.. Keep it Big, keep it easy, and who's yer Daddy?

The meat on the thin burger had a bad taste. The debris fries were covered in obviously canned gravy, then seasoned with salty garlic powder Vile!!!

  • Jim G.

If you rate Smashburger for what it is "a upper end fast chain restaurant" it's pretty good. The burgers are juicy, the fries are hot and crisp and it's a clean, albeit atmosphere-free" dining area. Of course, if you're going to compare it to independent local institutions that are known for their burgers (Port of Call, Yo Mama's, etc.) it falls short. Be warned it's on Magazine Street so you'll have to find a parking spot in the street (which usually isn't a problem if you don't mind walking a block or two).

I was not impressed with Smashburger. I figured I'd give it a try since it's so close to my apartment, but I regret not going the extra distance to a better burger place. I got the "NOLA" burger, which comes topped with a fried green tomato and creole mustard. It was nowhere near as good as it sounded. It's as though they literally smashed the burger. It was flat like a fast food cheeseburger, the bun was so soggy, the lettuce was completely wilted and starting to turn brown. I figured I'd might as well try to eat it (broke and hungry sacrifice) and when I took my first bite, it was full of paper. A receipt to be exact, for another order, in my burger. The bite of meat I did get was extremely dry. I'm not much of a fast food person, but would have preferred a McD's dollar menu burger over the one I was given. But, on a positive note, the Smash Fries were pretty tasty. A little too greasy, but still well seasoned.

Not the worst, but surely not the best. I came here for a Yelp Elite event and ordered the Avocado Club Burger with a side of the smash fries. The fries were a bit cool, so I wasn't able to enjoy them like they should be enjoyed, so my judgment of them is moot. The patty of the burger was a bit dry for my taste. New Orleans has opened so many new great burger joints within the last year or two, so my expectations for burgers are quite high. Unfortunately, Smashburger did not meet those expectations. So I'll keep this short, if you're looking for a place to quickly sate your burger cravings, Smashburger might just do the tricky (depending on your expectations), but if you've already tried Cowbell and Company Burger, Smashburger will just not do it for you. Simple as that.

Like other posters, I'm flummoxed as to what this low-level chain is doing on one of the most hallowed stretches of Magazine St. How these places slip by while good, local businesses and restaurants have trouble with permitting is beyond me. Smashburger next to American Apparrel next to Jamba Juice next to Blockbuster. Metairie here we come! That being said, I did go into it with an open mind. The food was average, just a straight ahead fast food burger a notch above McD's and Wendy's. The cajun fries had something off about them - I think they use Paul Prudhome's blackening spice, but they just use it like salt, so the flavor was superficial. When we went they were completely in over their head service-wise. The entire restaurant was waiting on their food. I thought the poor manager was going to die from stress, he looked bewildered and pressured. The high-school girls behind the counter were friendly and competent. A big drawback from my end (but I'm sure a plus from many others) is that this was a very child-friendly restaurant. I mean it was filled with more kids than Chucky Cheese. They were running everywhere, screaming, sticking their fingers into other people's food. Bedlam. Usually places like this are found in suburbs. It felt like this restaurant was built to cater more for children than adults. So, 2 stars for acceptible fast food burgers, but non-adult atmosphere and completely out of place in one of the city's most New Orleanian retail sectors.

Blah boring chain burger place that's slightly higher quality than McD's. A much better restaurant is deserving of this prime location and this place would be better served next to some other fast food places. I really could do without the steel cage basket they serve things in. Maybe this place will do ok as there isn't any other fast food joint within eye shot of this place other than Subway but I think a local joint would have done better business and fit in much better with the neighborhood. Personally I could do without it and probably won't be back as there are much better burgers for a similar price nearby in the bars. I guess this would be a good spot to bring kids.

In the rush to open burger places all over NOLA, this place lives up to what it really is--a chain restaurant. The burger was like a glorified Wendy's burger. The bun was an egg bun, and seriously yellow in color. So, I guess the conclusion is that the sandwiches are just so-so. The onion rings were priced cheaply for the amount served, which is not that much. But they are very thinly sliced, and I'd order them again. The best thing was the malt, made with Haagen Dazs ice cream. Not only do they give you a tall glass of your malt, but also the stainless steel container with whatever didn't fit into the glass. The location is good, the place is clean, and the service friendly. For those who want other menu items, there are salads and grilled chicken sandwiches to choose from, and you can either choose a sandwich or salad with their choices of ingredients, or you can built what you'd like. Good luck to Smashburger! They deserve to succeed.

I'd hate to give just an average review of a place, but this really wasn't one of the better burgers that I've had :T What I DO like, though, is their wide selection choices; different kinds of burgers that you can order, or if nothing is to your particular liking, MAKE YOUR OWN :D! I want to go back to try their array of sides, such as fries, sweet potato fries, haystack onions, fried pickles, etc. (I got the debris fries, which had great potential, but noticeably over-seasoned) As compared to Phil's Grill, which also has a build your own burger choice, I think Smashburger's actual burger is lacking in flavor, but still juicy nonetheless. However, their fries are definitely better than Phil's (which I was utterly disappointed by). LOVE the concept; LOVE the prices too ^^ Will I come back? Probably. Will I crave it randomly? Probably not. P.S. there are many articles in local publications; definitely promising.

I've seen reviews comparing smashburger quality to other places uptown and I think you've missed the mark. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, not to mention made from never frozen 100% black angus. Where else can you get that for around $6? So far I've had about 5 different burgers here and they are all very good just as they are listed on the menu. You can also design your own burger. The regular fries are hit or miss depending on how busy they are. If the restaurant is packed, don't get the fries. The other sides are AWESOME! Sweet potatoe fries, fried pickles and haystacks were all great. Some guy thought they were onion rings on here. The shakes are amazing. They're made with Hagen Daz icecream, I think. My favorite is the salty caramel but the waitress told me it's going away soon. Speaking of the waitress... the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They are a little loud, but it's a burger joint so it's fun to hear the kitchen staff yelling things in their own lingo. Final conclusion: This place is very worth it for the price and way above McDonald's/Burger King league. I recommend it and think it will be a great addition to the uptown restaurant scene.

The NOLA Burger was good, but the beef patties are very salty!! The Caramel Milkshake was excellent. The staff are friendly and the tables are cleared quickly and promptly. The atmosphere is very industrial with the stainless steel and concrete set-up like a Chipotle restaurant.

Feeling silly reviewing a burger joint when I ordered a chicken sandwich, but I have a few things to say. 1.) Burger joints are supposed to have good, classic French fries. Fail. I guess I should have ordered the debris fries with everything on them to fix these crunchy, cold, tasteless potatoes. 2.) Bulldog is right next door with the best chicken sandwiches ever. Not even comparable. 3.) I hate the take a number and we'll bring your food out with no service style. 4.) Would probably eat here again if it weren't surrounded by much better places.

Fresh food, sweet potato fries and satisfactory service! Enjoy!

A chain addition to Uptown and a decent one at that. Options for Nola-esque menu items as well as the ability to create your own burger in 3 sizes, Smash, Big Smash and a Double. (Double and Big Smash are the same price -- guess they just make two little guys out of the same oz of meat). This place has been a saving grace for me while I've been on a paleo challenge at my gym. I've been able to get a burger wrapped in lettuce with all kinds of toppings like grilled onions, fried eggs, avocado etc. The fries are pretty delish as they are tossed in olive oil and rosemary should you choose that option. They can come naked as well. The sweet potato fries are nice served with the rosemary. Big ups to Smashburger for offering normal sized cups for those ordering tap water! Service was very friendly -- while it's an order at the counter kind of place, staff stops by multiple times to check on you/offer drink refills etc. Price = $. Good for a quick bite uptown if you want a fast, chain experience that's not super expensive.

I work and live in this neighborhood so I have been able to give Smashburger a fair amount of chances to impress me before writing this review. I feel like your experience here is really hit or miss. Seemingly not having anything to do with how crowded the restaurant is- sometimes your food comes right out- sometimes you have to wait upwards of 25 minutes. Sometimes they get your order right, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the surrounding tables are clean, and sometimes you feel like you're eating in your old college apartment with a messy roommate. But when the food comes out fast, when your table isn't sticky with ketchup and when your order is in fact made to order- things can be pretty grand! I find their ingredients non-greasy, fresh and inventive. I really enjoy their "NOLA Burger" with a fried-green tomato, the "Black Bean Veggie Burger" served with (fairly) spicy mayo, and I also enjoy the toppings for their chicken breast sandwich (which I just get on a regular burger) which consists of goat cheese, spinach and a vinaigrette. Unfortunately, you have to buy everything ale-cart. They don't offer a discount for buying the burger, side and drink so I feel like things can start adding up quickly. So if you're into trying out all the local burger places in NOLA, I'd go ahead and add this to your list and hope you walk in on one of their "hit" days!

  • Curtis C.

Tasty burgers. I had the NOLA burger topped with 2 fried green tomatoes. First bite burnt the S*#@ out of my mouth though. Literally blistered. They need a disclaimer on that particular one, similar to what you see on McDonald's coffee cups. I mentioned it to the server... no apology, just "oh it must have come right out of the fryer". Gee, ya think so! lol. It was good, and I would go back, but will definitely do a finger test of the temp before diving in.

Mother of pearl! That was a greasy cheeseburger! Clogged arteries aside, the food here was yummy! You order your food and they bring it out you 5-10 mins later and enjoy! I had a cheeseburger and smash burger fries which have garlic and something else (can't remember what!) on them, but they were delicious- not soggy! We also had the fried onions which were really good as well. I got the smaller sized burger which filled me just fine (and I am a big eater), so I can't imagine how big the regular sized one is!

Ok, I like Smashburger. Yeah, yeah, it's a chain. I get it. I don't care. They don't serve the best burgers in the world, or even the best sides, but the food is still tasty. The last few times we've been, it was consistently good and the toppings were fresh. I especially like the baja and bbq cheddar burger/chicken options. I also like that they let you choose a small or large burger patty because I don't like so much burger on my burger, if you catch my drift (sorry burger purists). Oh, and they have black bean burgers, too. The smashfries and fried pickles are fairly good, if sometimes over-salty. Shakes are creamy, dreamy wonderfulness, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when they come to the table and we have actually had one delivered close to the end of our meal before. The salads are huge and super cheap if you're still convinced your New Years resolution is going to last. Decor is fitting with the Magazine Street location and kind of makes you forget that it's a chain restaurant in a prime retail spot. I had to subtract another star because the cleanliness out front has been pretty poor as of late (spills and trash on the counters/tables/floors). If they cleaned up and maintained food quality I would probably bump them up to 4 stars.

I was so ready to love this place. Love me a good burger. Turns out it's yet another burger joint. You need to stand out and serve a kick-ass burger. I didn't get one. It was decent. The onion rings or strings rather were good. The rosemary fries had potential but most were too greasy. Very few crispy ones. It you're just looking for a place to grab a bit, then this is your place.

  • Laney P.

Smash burger is pretty good. They have TONS of different options - from pre-determined combos to build your own. I got mine with guac last night - YUM! It was great. They also over avocado slices, and I like that you can get either. The girl taking my order was SO NICE and awesome. She was great. The smash fries taste delicious - garlic and rosemary. However, they were oily and soggy - probably were not fried at the correct temperature. The onion rings were great. Prices are good, sizes are good. Passed a salad on my way out - they're giant!!!!

Loved every bite! It's always packed and noisy but if you can deal with that its great place to dine.

I like this place...a lot! It's a really good burger without a lot of fuss or hype. I actually like it better than Company Burger. While Company Burger has all the frills and hype....Smashburger is just good and feels accessible. Doesn't feel trendy like a lot of these new burger spots seem. In the words of Arnold...I'll be back!

  • Louis P.

Good burger and fries.. Continuing my effort to try some of the new burger options that we now have in New Orleans, today I tried Smashburger... The food was good.. burger was tasty and juicy dressed with just the right about of condiments, lettuces and tomato. I had the regular fries and i liked them, they are very thin cut and crispy. One other reviewer mentioned that the fries must be eaten hot and there may be something to that. When I first tasted the fries I thought they were great, but by the end of the meal I really didn't want to finish them. I added the fried egg option to my burger, because Company Burger does that so well, but the egg was overcooked and lacked the runny yolk to mix with the burger juices and make magic in your mouth. So, skip the fried egg at smashburger. Overall, it is a good place but I won't likely go back. For me it is just geography since to get to Magazine street I have to practically drive by Company Burger on Freret. However, if you are in the area near Smash on Magazine st., well there are just so many other places near by to eat that are better.

  • Jessica B.

There are far too many non-chain burger places in this town to spend money and calories on this mediocre place. It's not terrible, but it's not great. The sweet potato smashfries were pretty good, but not worth the trip. I'll stick to one of the other dozen places when I'm in the mood for burgers, especially since all the rest serve beers.

    (2)
  • Jonathan D.

An excellent burger at a very reasonable price! I love the variety that Smashburger offers, burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, milkshakes and tasty sides. I really think that's what I appreciate most. You can please almost everyone in a group from their menu, unlike some other places that also specialize in burgers. I think Smashburger will gain a following and carve out its own niche between high-end and average places that seem to be popping up everywhere.

  • Alvin D.

3.5/5 getting better aiite smash, you're moving on up. for the fast food part you're getting faster, and my order was correct this time! liking this multigrain bun to offset the fact that it IS a burger, and also loving the fact that your "small" is actually a great meal-size. these fries, as last time, are still awesome. also, kudos on the fact that your greens are green - this has hit quality at the right price point. will be back!

  • R K.

As expensive as the other new trendy burger places, but not quite as good. Great fries, but the burger tasted like generic fast food. Everything's pretty greasy.

    (2)
  • Didi D.

It's like a semi fast food semi restaurant. I only had a cheeseburger and milkshake which was really good but I'm only giving them 3 stars because I keep comparing their cheeseburgers with New Orleans hamburger and Seafood co who makes the best cheeseburgers. It's still good but i would stop at the other place too :/

  • Monique L.

Good, fast, consistent and fairly priced. That's all I ask! I usually get one of the burgers, which are good. On the last visit I got a chicken sandwich, made Chik-Fil-A style with just pickles. It was delicious and rivaled Chick-Fil-A. Smash sweet potato fries were yummy. I also tried the Nutty Butty shake. It was too sweet. I've had their other flavors of shakes and it was better. Great place to come for a fast lunch.

  • George R.

Well, this is a chain burger place but I have to admit I really like this place. The burgers are pretty good as are the smash fries. They have Hagen Daz shakes which are quite good. Food comes out very fast. The place gets crowded pretty quickly for lunch.

Quick food, good bathroom, friendly staff. Keep the fries as god intended, this ain't no place for olive oil and rosemary.

Ate at Smashburger today for the first time and the food was actually pretty good. Unfortunately it gets 1 star and I probably won't be going back because of the service. I went with a friend who is a vegetarian (for religious reasons) and she ordered the Baja Cobb salad without the bacon. Our food arrived and we started eating when a few bites in she realized that there was bacon in the salad. We told the waitress about it and the assistant manager came out and said "I heard there was an issue regarding your salad"...even though he knew exactly what happened. We explained what happened and how it was a big deal because of her religion and she wasn't sure if she ended up actually eating the bacon. Anyway, he did apologize several times. But this was preceded by a few minutes of excuses as to why they might have messed up. Everything from "they might have read the order wrong" to "they're really busy back there and they might have just rushed." We're not dumb...we know it was a mistake and how it probably happened. But what are you going to do about it? The answer was pretty much nothing. He gave us a refund for the salad...that was it. Didn't offer to comp us for the meal. He didn't even offer to make a fresh salad without bacon for my friend. He just showed us the receipt with the refunded salad, told us it would take a few days for it to show up on the credit card statement, apologized again, and left us to finish the rest of our meal. I've had better customer service at McDonald's.

Bland and overrated. The sweet potato fries are horrible. The burgers don't have any flavor. I'd go to oak street for a much better burger (Cowbell or Truburger)

I got the Avocado chicken club and it was advertised to have fresh sliced avocado, but when I got my sandwich the advertised sliced avocado turned out to be just a dollop of guacamole. 2 stars because of false advertising!

Ordering was fast and the meal was cheap but so was the food. The salad I got was not fresh and I didn't finish it, the fried pickles were extremely salty and I don't recommend them at all. The burger my friend got was ok, she's def had better from company burger and cowbell. Overall a disappointment.

One of my top 3 burger places in the city! I really love that the burgers come in 4 different sizes. Finally a place where I can actually finish my entire burger, without having to worry about taking the leftover to go or throwing it away. Usually the shakes are pretty amazing, but I did have this one time when my shake didn't even come until about 20 minutes after I finished my entire meal and it wasn't a shake as much as it was slightly melted ice cream in a glass cup. I prefer them put my shake in a to go cup because you get more than than when they put it in the cute retro glass cups. The rosemary olive oil creole fries are way too oily/greasy for my liking. The regular fries remind me of McDonald's fries so I just get that as a safe choice now.

This place is very 3-star. Everything is very good, but not amazing. It's definitely a welcome addition to the block as I'd probably still prefer eating here over most of the other restaurants directly around it. I do want to note that the service was great here! It's basically a fast food joint, but some of the wait staff circled the restaurant making sure we were happy and had everything we needed. They messed up my burger order, but were very quick to fix it (actually, the waitress was on her way back to fix it because I think she realized the kitchen had made it wrong). This is a great place, and I'm glad it's here. However, if you're just going off of food quality, Company Burger and Truburger are definitely a step above.

Not a fan. When is it ok that a hamburger cut the sides of your mouth? The answer is never. If I would have wanted a flat piece of charred meat I would have cooked this at home and saved my money. Sweet potato fries were ok.

  • Adrianna P.

"Meh. I've experienced better" is exactly what I want to say here. It's hard to open a chain restaurant in New Orleans because all of our local places seem spectacular, but I had high hopes for this one (because I love burgers and I was excited to see a new burger joint open up near my work). Alas, everything about this place was just "OK" and the staff did not seem happy to be there. The burger was fine, nothing special and the fries were good but I know of plenty of other burger places I'd rather go to for a better burger and a better atmosphere (it just screamed "Chain Restaurant!"). Probably won't be going back.

I have to say these burgers are pretty tasty and fresh. Quality ingredients. Fries are on point. But hold up. STOP THE PRESSES. I just pulled a double hair clumpty-clump out of my mouth. Whoever is mixing the meat ain't rocking their hairnet. ROCK YOUR HAIRNET! I'm not trying to floss with your hair again. Over and out.

The burgers are very Juicy, but everything else is very Average. The plain fries at smashburger taste like the food service French fries from the hospital and are a mockery, in both size and flavor, of the greatest fries on Earth (McDonalds). IMHO, this place is going to really struggle without a Drive-Thru window even though it is in a prime location (as far as prime locations with an extreme limited parking). BTW, if you park in one of the precious parking spots in the neighborhood behind Smashburger, then make sure that you park correctly because the neighbors hate you and make a game out of how many cars that they can have towed.

First time to smash burger, ordered the baja chicken and it wasn't bad. My hubbie ordered a hamburger and it was still MOOing. Told the manager and he gave us a $5 coupon. Maybe we can give it another shot.

I had been in Los Angeles all summer and when I returned to my NOLA apartment on Magazine, I saw many changes... The first being a burger joint just walking distance from me. I don't think that this city is lacking in burger joints... Joey K's, Slim Goodies and Yo Momma's have great burgers HOWEVER, I was tempted to try this place. I have never been to a Smashburger nor did I know it was a chain until my sister said, "oh we have that in South Florida too." I ordered a plain old cheeseburger with onions, they don't have grilled onions, with a side of fries. The food came out fast. Like drive through fast food joints fast. The fries were just like a Mc Donalds too.... The burger was just a basic patty, cheese, onions, pickles..... not a thick juicy patty but it was cooked correctly. The establishment was so cold my food got cold fast. The gal walking around busing tables kept trying to take my plate. That drove me nuts. Just because I did not inhale my food!!! I cannot justify the price either...

I am surprised to see the mixed reviews. The service was excellent and the food was my culinary highlight on our New Orleans vacation. Try the NOLA burger topped with two fried green tomatoes and a side of Cajun fries. Good value, great food, great service and great location!

I've been here twice. The first time my order came out wrong twice (my only special request was a black bean patty instead of beef), and by the time it finally came my friends were done eating and we all had places to be. I can't say how it tasted, because I was so irritated with the teenage staff I threw it away in frustration. I decided to give it another try today and placed an order to go. First of all, I was told that they don't accept phone orders and I had to come in and wait. The wait wasn't long, and I received my order without a problem (granted it was 3 in the afternoon and the restaurant was practically empty). When I got home I was disgusted to find my burger was thrown together more carelessly than the worst burgers I've purchased from Burger King or McDonald's. The mayo and tomatoes I had requested to be left off were on the burger even though the reciept clearly said "no tomatoes no mayo." Tomatoes can be picked off, but mayonnaise? Not so easy. The Smashfries that were supposedly "tossed with rosemary, olive oil, and garlic" were hot and crispy, but were bland and not "tossed" with anything. They weren't even salted. I also purchased an order of fried pickles, and they were so greasy they leaked through the container, the bag, and left a puddle in my passenger seat. I *poured* them onto a plate, and there was still a puddle of oil left in the bottom of the cardboard cup they came in. Gross. Long story short, I will not be back.

third time at smashburger is my last time at smashburger. Long wait for grilled chicken and veggie burger...got smashburger instead of veggie and waited again. Everything was over salted to the point of being unpleasant. Somebody has a heavy hand or it is getting salted twice. Drank a ton of water once home..lips burning from the salt. The workers here are all too friendly with each other. Whilst ordering, Antoine, our order taker would not look at us and was carrying on a conversation with a co-worker instead of uttering anything to us. The woman wiping down tables is very friendly but the disgusting rag that she is wiping every ketchup bottle with needs to be thrown in the laundry bin. It still seemed dirty and had that dirty smell, the outside around the door area hadn't been swept in weeks and there is now a nice greasy trail that leads to their already filthy trash cans. Simple daily cleaning would go a long way. I no longer like smashburger.

Went here for the first time today and was super pleased! This works to satisfy my guy's love of burgers at a place that has something that I can actually eat. I am not a vegetarian but I just don't like the taste of beef. But Smashburger is more than burgers, it also has a huge selection of chicken sandwiches and even a couple of veggie burger options. Tons of fresh toppings and some interesting sides too. I got the spicy black bean burger, topped with guacamole, fresh jalapenos, lettuce, tomato and onion on a chipotle bun. It was fantastic! The burger and all the elements were made on site and not frozen. Super fresh and just plain good. My fiance got the meat version of the same burger and we split the sweet potato smash fries. He liked his burger also but we both felt the smash fries could have used more rosemary. Oh and the best part..if you sign up for their smash club on line, they send you a coupon for buy one meal get one free. We left with full bellies and a full wallet.

We had a great time there Saturday, the club chicken sandwich was delicious, the smash sweet potato fries were great, and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant looks great from the inside, with what looks like original brick walls and great windows for people watching. I like the variety on the menu, and can't wait to try some more things on their menu. Would love to get a shake, but think it would be calorie overload. Was pretty busy Saturday night, but the wait for food isn't too bad.. Will definitely be going back!

are you kidding me? this place is pretty friggin awesome! i went for the first time last night. the burger was juicy as hades, the debris fries should be a staple and the service was good. the only thing i didnt/dont understand is when i was rung up there was a "tip" line to add to my total. i dont really get why everyone needs to be tipped nowadays but thats neither here nor there. just put some cans in the dining area and ill throw my own stuff away and keep my tip. at $22 for a couple burgers and fries tipping is not an option.

Just had my first Smash Burger experience & it was awesome! Service was out of this world & as someone previously in restaurant management that speaks volumes!!! Our food was hot, fresh and so good. The Bbq Bacon Cheddar with the onion straws...omg sooo good. The Cajun fries were out of this world too. I had a Nutter Butter milkshake & it could not have been better! Thanks for a great lunch & keep up the awesome job!!! We'll be back soon!

I like Smashburger. Won't go so far as to say I love it or that it's spectacular, but it's cool with me. Every now and then I get a hankering for a Smashburger and I head down Magazine Street to get my fix. I've never ventured from the standard Smashburger and Smashfries. They're both solid. A step up from a true fast food joint like McDonald's or Wendy's, but not quite on the level of my all-time fave, Five Guys.

Last time I went here I found my receipt stuck INSIDE my grilled chicken sandwich. This really grossed me out to bite into a soggy ass piece of paper. Plus, did you know there is BPA in receipt paper that absorbs into your skin? Let's recognize that *even* the FDA has acknowledged that BPA is an endocrine disruptor and banned it from baby bottles!! I ate that dirty BPA receipt. Additionally, the food was excessively effing salty. I really liked it the first time but I think of the receipt thing every time I think of this place so I probably won't go back. Sorry for the tangent.

After two weeks of transitioning to new healthy life style, I decided to take a break. Smashburger was a great break decision. I ordered a jalapeño Baja burger, spicy buffalo fries (free with survey), and a vanilla shake. The burger was yummy and the shake was great. The fries were a bit salty for my liking so I will never order them again. I will go there again, but not just for the food. Ryan, the store manager, took my order and made everything super easy because he has had everything on the menu. He was also very happy to be there and assist me.

Smash burger is a consistent choice for Burgers, Fries and a Shake. The quality is always good. It is a chain that is run well and the service is predictable. It does not have the "focus" of Company Burger or the "variety" of Phil's. I always get a classic Smash Burger, Regular Fries (the are shoestring and awesome) and a Shake. The shakes are hand made and always come with extra! Give this place a try if you are in the area and want a burger, fries and shake.

Had dinner there tonight. Good concept. Decor was nice but place isn't well insulated so it was kinda cold. Tried the bbq bacon cheddar burger which was good but not great. Love the bun. Husband had the burger with the avocado and again not great. Decent quality. The smash fries were okay but the onion rings weren't good. Cut too thin to enjoy. The sweet tea was too sweet!!! Overall it was okay. Probably won't go back. Also the staff needs to do a better job with keeping areas clean. The tea dispensers had tea all over the counter. It seemed they were most likely understaffed. There were only 2 waiters handling the front.

This was the best burger and fry combo I had in a very long time. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheddar. DELICIOUS!!!!! My wife had the spicy Baja Smash and that was pretty. We shared the Debris Fries and they were AMAZING. I will be coming back here when I visit home again. Time for Jazz Fest now.

So freakin gooooood! They need more produce though. ..when we went, they ran out of tomatoes and cucumbers. .but by far delicious! Nothing bad about the taste of the food.

If you prefer a Company Burger style burger than a Port of Call style burger then you'll definitely like this place. I enjoyed the fries and shake more than the burger unfortunately. The bread was particularly good on the burger. The meat seemed fresh. I don't each much red meat but at the entire burger.

Ok, so I used to love Smashburger, but now I avoid it. I went there about three months ago. The morning after eating there I felt so weak and nauseous. I had to cancel going into work. I'm assuming it was food poisoning/ a bad batch of ground meat. I have felt fine since then.

Smashburger is a decent, but less convenient, alternative to fast food. Having missed the Yelp event held when they first opened, I was determined to try out Smashburger. My first trip was not good, but the manager gave me a $5 coupon for a return visit. I finally decided to put the coupon to use and headed there today. Located in one of my favorite areas of the city, Smashburger is an attractive place. Unfortunately there is only street parking, but that is to be expected in that area. Ordering is simple. You walk up and order from one of the two registers. The menus are posted on the cash register which helps speed up the process. For dining in you take a number and a seat, for to-go they call your name when your food is ready. I ordered the all american burger and a side of debris fries to-go. Unlike many other Smashburger locations, this one does not offer an online ordering option. I would have much rather ordered online and had my food ready when I arrived instead of milling about being stared at while waiting. My food was OK, but nothing spectacular. It was better than a standard fast food burger, but I thought it was not as good as most full service restaurant burgers. The fries were also just OK. I should have known better than ordering debris fries from a non-local chain. If I am in the area and want a quick, decent burger, I may be back. If I want to-go food I will probably find somewhere else that is more convenient.

CHEAPER THAN BK: for much fresher, higher quality food! CLEAN: large dining room and maintained bathrooms; GREAT QUALITY: even ordering the splittable double meal it's just $11. Of the three new hamburger places that have opened uptown (Charcoal, Company Burger and Smash Burger) this is by far my favorite. Yeah I know, its a chain and favoring it is shuddersome, but I think its the best value for the money. Smash Burger has generous portions, a nice large dining room, and a very friendly staff. In fact I was finishing a long run one day and stopped in somewhat sweaty. The chatty cashier was so welcoming she even gave me a bottled water! My one mistake was ordering the double smash, it was huge so I took half of it home. I got the spicy Baja burger with a flavorful chipotle mayonaise, a fountain drink (yep! free refils) and freshly battered haystack onions rings: $11!

Soooooooooooo yummmmmmy!!! I always get their black bean burger with various toppings, always good. Milkshakes are very good. A little skimpy with the toppings but if you ask you'll get the perfect amount

I'm so glad there is a Smash in NOLA. I love how they have a specialty buger for each major city they are located it! I just wish they had torta rolls so my main squeeze can get his San Diego burger. But I love the fried green tomatoes on the NOLA burger so I don't miss the SD burger too much. And the fries are crispy & delish. And you can get free dipping sauce like ranch or chipotle. Yummay!

Was looking for a good burger. It wasn't a top choice but enjoyed it. The shakes are a good way to flush the french fries down.

I'm a burger and fries kinda girl, this place is good. I especially like that they DONT ONLY offer burgers. This place has the feel of a burger stand, but is actually a sit and eat facility... Like it!!!
